About this set
Echoes of the alternative rock of the 80s and 90s and a distinctive voice defined the debut album of Wouter Thijssen, released in late 2019. For its follow-up Broer, Wouter Thijssen surrounded himself with regular band members Michel Becx (drums) and Sean Willekens (bass). This second album delivers sharp songs and solid guitar work. The new material, populated by anarchists, punks and other young delinquents, settles accounts with a turbulent Hasselt past, and will appear in spring 2026 on new label Thorn In My Side Recordings. Singles Wille and Wondermooie Rotzooi have already had multiple airplays and been praised on Meurissey (Willy).
