Lintworm proudly presents their second album: “Everything Was Still Covered In Glitter”. They go for cheerful violence and colourful darkness, weaving grindcore, powerviolence, noise and other piercing sounds into a hectic, all-consuming attack, deliberately overblown and with no interest in subtlety at all. Behind this sonic violence are some of the nicest guys in Belgium, armed with hearts full of peace and love and a strange fascination with the absurd and the awkward. Lintworm thrives on contrast: cute and grotesque, playful and hostile, ridiculous and genuinely intense. Their sound doesn’t creep in politely, it infects, overwhelms, and leaves everything a little louder, uglier and strangely more alive. Extreme heavy music at its most unhinged, invasive and oddly attractive. The album, produced by Tim De Gieter (Doodseskader, ex-Amenra), explores themes of armpits, bubbles and political violence.
