About this set
DITZ, formed in 2016 in Brighton, has been in constant motion since the release of their debut album *The Great Regression* (2022). The band is always on the road, radiating a sense of urgency and intensity that comes into full expression on *Never Exhale*, their new album out in January 2025, with its frantic, immersive tempo. This second album, written across Europe, recorded at Holy Mountain Studios in London and mixed by Seth Manchester (Model/Actriz, Lingua Ignota, Big Brave), ushers in a new chapter. Backed by IDLES, DITZ continues its exploration of abrasive noise rock in the vein of The Jesus Lizard or Shellac, laced with a confrontational post-punk style à la The Fall, while integrating new textures influenced by Radiohead and Mogwai. On stage, DITZ remains a physical, immersive experience. True to the intensity captured on their 2023 live album, the band delivers a rich sonic landscape and magnetic charisma, turning every performance into a genuine collective trance.
