About this set
When Channel Zero decided to call it quits in 1997, they had released four albums in five years. Those four albums earned them metal immortality. They started out as an invisible grooving underground thrash metal band. They soon became the biggest metal phenomenon in the Benelux, thanks to their third album “Unsafe” and its fresh, sharp sound. That album took them to the USA, they toured the world with the likes of Megadeth, Danzig and Biohazard and played the biggest European festivals. In 1996 they released “Black Fuel”, produced by Attie Bauw. It quickly became the metal album of an entire generation. But despite the subsequent European tour with Body Count, Channel Zero packed it in in 1997. The band members went their separate ways after thanking their legion of fans with a live CD of their Marktrock show. On 22 January 2009, Channel Zero played a one-off reunion show at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. The show sold out in under a minute. Channel Zero would go on to play six sold-out AB shows for more than 12,000 people. Every ticket sold in less than an hour. They became the biggest metal phenomenon in the Benelux, all over again.
