About this set
Presented in conjunction with Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival (INMUFE). Yangbans is a Seoul-based band redefining Korean rock through their core philosophy, pungryu(wind & flow), a concept that merges Korean sensibility with modern sound. Originally formed in 2014 as Jun Bum Sun and the Yangbans, the group brings together musicians rooted in jazz and influenced by funk, hip-hop, R&B, and gospel. Converging through rock, their contrasting musical languages collide and intertwine, forming a distinct sonic identity they describe as myoh (妙), subtle, intuitive, and difficult to define.
