About this set
BIG SPECIAL is an idiosyncratic duo from the heart of the UK, fusing punk, poetry and pure rage into a sonic fist to the face. With a gritty post-punk sound, industrial beats and sharp spoken word, they bring the frustrations of everyday life out into the open, unfiltered. Singer Joe Hicklin spits his lyrics like a preacher on the edge of a breakdown, while drummer Callum Moloney keeps the tension taut with pounding rhythms. BIG SPECIAL is not a band for the background. They demand your attention, make you uncomfortable, and leave no one untouched.
