About this set

The music of this fresh Berlin ensemble is based on the experimental spirit of the Neue Deutsche Welle and the basslines of dance punk. In their live shows, beat, attitude, queerness, and a wink merge into a sweat-inducing dash forward. Distinctive trademarks are the rough vocals and the pounding guitars over danceable rhythms: at once nostalgic and modern, catchy and offbeat. And they show that a struggle for emancipation poured into lyrics can always also convey irony and zest for life. Small, (so far) too undiscovered anthems for everyone who doesn’t want to commit.
