Teasingly playful, Städtische Manieren (possible translation: urban manners) switch sound and genres much, much faster than inner-city traffic moves… Which might not move at all because it’s mostly jammed. Is their music jammed as well? Not really, it sounds excessive yet controlled in the nervous tradition of post-punk and experimental alternative-rock with an avant-garde edge. For anyone who enjoys not knowing what will happen but that it can happen anytime.
