MAG steps on stage like something that has wandered in from another timeline, and the next half hour belongs entirely to her. Megaphone vocals bark and blare, a trombone slinks in where you’d least expect tenderness, the drum machine hits like a door slamming, and the synths shriek rather than sing. It shouldn’t hang together and yet it absolutely does. Strange, theatrical, faintly menacing and impossible to look away from.
