When the Nazis came to power, political opponents were persecuted and their organisations were dismantled. For Lisa Fittko, resignation and conformity were no options. As a communist, a Jew, a resistance fighter and a smuggler, she continued the fight against the Nazi regime. Using a route through the Pyrenees, she supported numerous people to escape, among them Walter Benjamin. This multi-voice reading takes you through key stages of her resistance.
