Kundan Lal collects sounds the way other people collect postcards. Over the years, he has built an archive of street noise, broken radios, conversations, engines, market sounds, and passing melodies recorded across Asia and North Africa. He feeds his collection into dusty dub structures and slow-motion beat constructions. Somewhere between tape hiss, DIY studio obsession and late-night shortwave energy, his music follows its own meandering path: movement without an endpoint.
