About this set
- Live Act
- Ambient & Soundscapes
- Folk
Jonny is the musical alter ego of South African-born violist, multi-instrumentalist, strings producer, and composer Jean-Louise Parker. With over two decades of experience touring internationally and producing strings for a wide range of artists, Parker distills this lifetime of musical exploration in different genres into a singular artistic vision – where lush orchestration meets intimate, evocative songwriting. The result is an immersive body of work that positions her not only as a musician, but as a nuanced storyteller and sonic world-builder. Her live set features her vocals, electric guitar, viola, electronics, and cassette tape loops.
