Two people, two Cyr wheels, two different approaches to life: While Jef is more of a reserved type, Marica is brimming with self-confidence. »In Difference« depicts a sensitive encounter between the two. They seek to navigate their differences without falling into a hierarchy or conforming too much to one another. The arena for their attempt to develop a shared language is the Cyr wheel, a classic circus discipline that is barely recognisable in this highly distinctive style – poetic, powerful, and honest.
