Jamila & The Other Heroes is a Berlin-based band blending psychedelic desert rock with a powerful message of collective liberation from within the Palestinian diaspora. Founded by Jamila Al-Yousef – born in East Berlin on the day the Wall fell and named after her Palestinian grandmother – the project is deeply rooted in diasporic memory and revolutionary spirit. Singing in Arabic and English, Jamila weaves personal and political stories into songs that move between tenderness and empowerment.
