A thrilling explosion of Afro-Futurism, the multidisciplinary collective’s name roughly translates as »music from garbage«. Fulu Miziki hails from a future in which humans have reconciled with the earth and with themselves. This future is based in the pulsing Congolese capital city of Kinshasa, where the eco-friendly punk ensemble relentlessly transforms its ensemble in ever-changing trash constellations. Transforming objects to transform bodies, Fulu Miziki’s wild masked costumes and electronic and industrial beats will move you to dance, dance, dance!
