With subtle humor the movie shows the conflicts surrounding the gathering of wild edible plants in Palestine/Israel. Combining fiction, documentary and archival footage, the film examines how Israeli nature protection laws restrict traditional foraging practices, particularly of ’akkoub and za’atar.
