Die Grillen are a Berlin-based electronic duo mixing electroclash, wave, Italo disco, and cosmic club energy into danceable, character-driven electro pop. Pulsing synths, 303 basslines, cold drum machines, and dry, deadpan lyrics. Their sound moves between irony and sincerity, between the dancefloor and something stranger underneath. Built on a DIY mindset and a hardware-only live setup, Die Grillen borrow from the past only to distort it and make it move.
