To quickly check what this queer/trans electropop-bass duo is all about (and how far the spaces they open up reach), we briefly explain the origin of their name: On the one hand, it is a reminiscence of the dark, musty, but highly creative basement studios of this world; on the other hand, it is a tribute to the Pixies classic “Debaser.” The sound of Alli Logout (who also plays in the band Special Interest) and Margo XS (Grammy nominated producer, DJ and primary collaborator for the likes of Kim Petras, Zara Larsson, Frost Children + more) moves between these poles: sometimes accessible, sometimes defiant, at one moment still cuddly and now insidiously ambushing from behind.
