- Band
Just a quick test: Do you know which band describes itself as ‘the most unknown well-known band in Germany? Exactly: Bukahara, this wild formation between folklore and improvisational progress. Its co-founder, the violinist Avi Schneider, is in turn the most famous Swiss person in Cologne, studied jazz there, and is constantly making music with someone. In his new quartet, global musical traditions and imagined folklore collide with the wild, unpredictable playfulness of jazz. Always exciting and always very close.
