34 Afghan Windows is an immersive journey that invites participants to explore the rich and diverse world of Afghanistan at a time when visiting the country is, unfortunately, not possible. The number 34 represents Afghanistan’s 34 provinces, each with its own cultures, traditions, music, and stories waiting to be discovered. Every window offers a unique perspective, encouraging audiences to open them and engage with the realities of a country that is too often overlooked. The project addresses themes such as war, violence, terrorism, women’s rights, displacement, and the refugee journey to Europe, while also highlighting hope, dreams, resilience, and human dignity.
