About this set
The Nantes-based trio Treaks denounces sexism, gender norms, and societal pressures in their debut album, EGO. Released in April 2025, the record delivers ten dark, defiant tracks. They’ve played at renowned venues such as La Boule Noire (Paris), Le Printemps de Bourges, La Cigale (Paris), and Rock en Seine (Paris). Blending techno, noise, and post-punk, Treaks crafts razor sharp soundscapes driven by an unrelenting rhythm section. Guitar, bass, and drums collide in an addictive, high-voltage exchange. Their music is cathartic, unfiltered, and unapologetically free from conventions and genre boundaries. Treaks draws fierce inspiration from acts like CLT DRP and Model/Actriz, channeling rage, resistance, and raw energy into every note.
